I started locking my hair march 07 and I still had perm on the ends. Do i need to just cut the perm ends straight off or will it eventually grow out??? Whats the best product to use to twist your hair?

A perm is really only a temporary solution to relax curls and give the illusion that a person born with kinky hair rather came into existence with straight hair follicles. This deception last but only a few weeks to a month when the original roots start to grow out as was intended by nature. Because of the chemicals the ends will never revert back to a wavy kinky curly pattern and so a person attempting to grow natty appears to be stuck in between two worlds. Your loctician would suggest that you cut off your chemical treated tresses for aesthetic purposes mainly. For cultivating dreadlocks i use our ayurvedic black soap and organic beeswax balm to twist dreads.
