Good night, I am interested in getting Bornu Locs . I wore my own hair locked for 5 years and miss it.
I tried loc extensions about 3 months ago and what a disaster! The Beverley Johnson human kinky hair started shedding from the get go. Then a few of the locks came off. While my hair was getting done I was told that the work was guaranteed. When I complained I was then told it had to be me.
Needless to say I have no locs, I took the remaining out as it looked so nasty.
I am now looking to get my hair done again but Im scared!! Your website looks great. My hair is about 3 inches in most places and about another 2-2 1/2 inches in the back. The lower back is growing in. I was wearing a bob for some time.
My hair is natural. I use a blue black hair color. I have a small head and would like small - medium bornu locs. The condition of my hair is coarse to fine. In a few places there is new growth from where the hair was damaged.
Do you use glue, intelocking, sewing.. to put on the extensions? What brand of human Hair do you use? How much would shoulder length loc extensions cost? What length should my own hair be to achieve and maintain permanent loc extensions? I have many more questions as I search for a good loctitian. please feel free to call me or perhaps you can offer a time I could speak with you.
Respectfully,
Joean

Respect Joean,
Cost analysis. You get what you pay for in most instances. However, some consumers feel that they are not getting anything of good value unless they are paying an arm and a leg for it. I scout for vendors who distribute premium 100% human hair & I inspect each bag I purchase to make sure it will suffice before using it on a patrons head to do the bornu locs. Modalities include palmrolling, weaving and braiding to fuse the combination of hairs into place to get the result. You have to have enough inches of hair on your head to anchor as a support for the amount of hair you want added. I suggest atleast 2 inches minimum if you anticipate getting the medium bornu locs which typically extends just to the shoulder. You should expect to pay up to $500 for this length.
Thank you, Bornu
